A while back I mentioned my fingernail that got torn off when I was little. I can’t remember what started it, but I began cutting the nail further and further back so the finger would have to readjust where the nail bed was. All in an attempt to see if I could uncover the spot that has some kind of nerve damage. Eventually I did manage to get that far back. My finger looks very odd now compared to the others. I’ve always kept my nails long enough that they are still useful for digging. Which was useful when I used to sculpt regularly. Anyway, the spot of uncovered skin is definitely different. At first there was a sort of crust like a callous, although not exactly the same. I was able to peel that skin off and uncover normal looking skin. There was no bleeding, it just cracked and I was able to pull it off like tape. Underneath that I can feel the exact spot that has felt weird since the original injury. There isn’t anything visually distinct about it that I can see. It’s just there and I can poke at it now. I don’t know exactly how to describe the sensation because it’s not exactly like pain. It’s sort of like that feeling of skin healing under a scab, but it’s dense. Way more dense than it usually feels in that situation. I guess I’m going to keep messing with it and see if I can uncover the entire area. I may end up with no fingernail on that finger if I do though. Guess I’ll just see how it goes.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed the page for tonight and will return to me on Monday to see if Ed can actually get out of his own way long enough to actually engage in the sex with Nina that she so clearly would like. Until then, keep on truckin’.

I mean, as long as you’re not causing more damage, who cares what the finger looks like? I don’t think you have anything to worry about besides a tiny bit more care about scratching with it, and cosmetics. And it sounds like you’re actually fixing an old issue, which is good. I hope whatever happens is helpful! :3

re the fingernail story – there’s a metaphor in there somewhere, maybe.
Somehow I don’t think ‘comfortable’ is the word Ed would use to describe his situation just now.

This is some serious whiplash. Not complaining, mind; I find it tremendously entertaining. Just the incredibly gorgeous Nina coupled with a tragic tale of your poor hurt finger. I guess Nina is the ointment to soothe the sadness of your wound.

Wait – It’s a bit of flesh under the fingernail that looks the same on the surface, but underneath feels much harder?

Measure it’s current size, and then continue to keep an eye on it. If it grows more then 20%, get it biopsed ASAP. It sounds like a sub-surface growth of some sort, which is often benign, but if it’s growing in size, then it’s possibly cancerous.

If it was cancer it would’ve killed me ten thousand times already.

Some cancers develop very slowly. They may develop much slower than you naturally age; if so, it’s likely OK; you’ll die of something else. If not, it may eventually kill you.

If a 43 year old injury to a fingernail somehow managed to secretly be cancer after all that time, then bravo. I applaud the ridiculously long con and welcome death.

she has big long legs a bit of difference in her too there just having fun never too old have fun no matter what you do or what you get in it in life.
